Irving Citizens Fire Academy Alumni Association

The alumni association came about because some of the graduates of class #7 wanted to do more for the IFD. The group then decided on approving the bylaws and elected the first officers in 2005. The first president was Josh Smith. We really did not do a whole lot the first year, but to this date we now have approximately 33 alumni members that  participate regularly in activities that have established us as a proven asset to the Chiefs as well as the Firefighters.

We want to be an organization that will do more than just help at fire scenes. We continue to look for ways that we can assist the fire department and enrich our community.
